Don’t Miss Out! RoundUp For a Cure is coming soon!

Where: Old Tucson Studios (201 S. Kinney Rd., Tucson, AZ 85735)

When: Saturday, September 16th 6:45 pm – 11:00 pm

Who: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Tucson Office

Grab your boots, chaps and cowboy hats y’all, it’s time again for Roundup For A Cure! Dress in your western best for an evening in the old west.  Each year the Tucson Cystic Fibrosis Foundation organizes this one-of-a-kind event at Old Tucson Studios to raise funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis.

Originally built in 1939 by Columbia Pictures, Old Tucson Studios is a replica of 1860’s Tucson for the movie Arizona, and is now a movie studio and theme park. Each year this old west town hosts Roundup For A Cure.

As the premier fundraising and awareness Cystic Fibrosis event in Tucson, this event is one you don’t want to miss! This year will be featuring great food along with live music and sharp shooting entertainment in true old west fashion. There will also be a wonderful silent and live auction, and an on-duty sheriff to keep the peace and lock up any outlaws with outstanding bounties.  This year will also feature a photo booth for you to take home your own keepsake of your night in the old west.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Southern Arizona Office will also be honoring the Breath of Life Honoree, Mr. Richard Luebke, Jr. Chairman of the Board Pima Medical Institute.  This honor is granted each year to a member of the community that has demonstrated exceptional commitment to volunteerism, and Mr. Luebke has been chosen as the 2017 Honoree for his resolute dedication to helping others. With a “pay it forward” mantra to his own life, he believes in passing good things to others.  “As a former runner, I truly appreciate the vital importance of breathing. When you can’t get a full breath nothing else matters,” Luebke said “I want to see an end of this terrible disease as soon as possible, but in the mean time we can bring comfort and improvement to their lives through ongoing research.”

You can purchase your tickets on the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Roundup For A Cure page here https://roundupforacure.eventscff.org/.  There are also several sponsorship opportunities available, and volunteer opportunities for those who want to get involved.  As always, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is also accepting donations of any denomination to help aid them in their mission to raise awareness about Cystic Fibrosis and help find a cure.
