Who

The Tucson Jazz Festival is open to anyone and everyone who might like to buy a ticket. The love of jazz knows no age range! This year, as in years past, the JazzFest is drawing some incredible acts from all over the country. Among those performing are Dee Dee Bridgewater, George Benson, Tower of Power, John Pizzarelli, Storm Large, and Kamasi Washington.

What

Tucson Jazz Festival is happening again for the third year running. It’s a week long celebration of some of the best names in jazz! This year is another great year for the JazzFest and you won’t want to miss a minute. The festival is primarily a downtown Tucson event, the exception being the downtown jazz fiesta which is happening on Monday January 16th. This outdoor event will feature two stages each featuring numerous jazz ensembles!

When

This year the Tucson Jazz Festival will run from Thursday January 12th 2017 through Sunday January 22st 2017. You can see the entire lineup of events here. Each day there is a main event that is held at one of the downtown locations. You will need tickets for every event except for the Downtown Jazz Fiesta which is open to the public and free! Tickets are sold individually for each event and some sell out very fast. Where

The Rialto Theatre, the Fox Tucson Theatre, Club Congress, and the TCC Music Hall will all play host to events during this years Tucson Jazz Festival. There are also several other small Tucson locations hosting some events this year. You can check out the Hilton El Conquistador, the Scottish Rite Temple, and Crowder Hall for more Tucson Jazz Festival fun.

Cost

The cost of admission for the various Tucson Jazz Festival events varies depending on the event and the location. The top events range in price from $25-$115 all in all it is a very affordable chance for everyone to experience some amazing jazz musicians. If you know that you will be attending some of the shows at this years JazzFest make sure you head over here to get tickets before they’re all sold out!

If you are new the JazzFest hopefully this will get you started in the right direction. Tried and true professionals probably already know where they need to go to get tickets for these amazing events. The one thing that is most important to remember is that this is a fantastic chance to experience some of the most incredible jazz artists in the country up close and personal. It’s not everday that this much talent is hanging out in our backyard Tucson!
