The Tucson Jazz Festival is coming to town! From January 12-22 you can experience the 3rd annual Tucson Jazz Festival. There are 9 venues, a variety of amazing artists and bands on the lineup, and you are invited to enjoy it all (or just your favorites). Kamasi Washington, Stormy Love, John Pizzarelli, Anat Cohen, Howard Alden, George Benson, and Tower of Power are among some of the names you’ll see at this years festival. The Tucson Jazz Festival has it’s own website which includes links to purchase tickets to individual events. Make sure you get tickets if you want to ensure you are able to see your favorite shows!
This year the festival kicks off at the Rialto Theater on January 12th at 7:30 pm. Kamasi Washington is performing and you won’t want to miss out! If you can’t make the big kickoff make sure you schedule the 16th into your schedule. Monday the 16th will be a full day of Jazz! Held on Martin Luther King Day and featuring 2 outdoor stages on Fifth Avenue and 6 indoor stages as well. This even will be held mainly on Congress Street. This part of the festival will be free to the public and is sponsored by Rio Nuevo.
